Compressors used to run ice makers

Vogt Tube Ice icemaker. Olmsted Ice has 140 tons of production of that “Ice with the hole in the middle.” We make a mini size 7/8” tube ice product.

After Olmsted Ice harvests the ice it then goes through a screening and drying process so the product you have in the bag is crisp, loose and has the minimum amount of fines

After the ice is screened and dried, the ice then drops into a 55 ton Keith Walking Floor bin. This is a true “First in First Out” system storage system.

After the ice comes out of the bin, it travels to our bagging equipment. In this picture is the Hamer 310 Form, Fill and Seal Bagger. The Olmsted Ice employee is stacking up 7-Pound Bags of ice. At no time do the employees hands come into direct contact with the ice.

Olmsted Ice has two bagging lines. In this picture is the Hamer 525 Form, Fill and Seal Bagger. The Olmsted ice employee is stacking up 22-Pound Bags of ice.

Olmsted Ice palletizes or racks its ice for delivery. In this picture, the Olmsted Ice employee is stacking up racks of 7-Pound Bags of Ice.

All pallets of Olmsted Ice are stacked on a standard 40 x 48 pallet; shrink wrapped and dated before it is stocked into our freezer

After the ice is stacked on the racks, it is wheeled into the freezer waiting to be loaded onto a truck for delivery

Our freezers can store up to 400 pallets of ice
